He sure does. I'll have to check Chase's papers to see his lineage when I get home after work as i don't recall off hand. Chase's racing name was Starz Megabucks. I think I know how they got the name for him. He loves coffee! Of course we don't give him any but have to watch our cups if we ever set a cup down. He also has a small diamond on his head. Did Indydog have one?

Indy's "diamond" was not as distinct as Chase's.
I just checked - they're not related except to say that practically all racing greyhounds in this country are descended from Downing.
Chase is a beautiful example of what I call the "classic" greyhound - so many of them now are slightly blunter, bulkier beasts. We had a couple of males in foster care with us who were 85lbs. Big, broad boys. Made Indy look very delicate by comparison.

would like a pit but with having cats and kids I would be hard pressed to find a fitting rescue and the wife and I do not want to deal with raising a puppy, so for now I just go play with my cousins blue pit.

I'm not much of one for taking pics but I might be able to locate some and add them later. I've got two pitbulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, technically speaking. Mocha (female) and Tiger (male). Both rescued. Both awesome.
All intelligent looking dogs. I had a Boston once, Sluggo. One of the best dogs I ever had.
We have twelve paws, though eight of them belong to a pair of cats....

Beans is now up to 100 pounds, all muscle. He'll pull me over if I'm not paying attention. It's his 2nd birthday this week, so here's a few more photos:

Yeah he sits goofy, lays down goofy, stands up goofy.... you get the idea. He's about as laid back as it gets.
We have all the benefits of dog ownership without the expense. The neigbor's dogs ease on over whenever we are outside. We have on demand Labs, a really small mutt, and a Catahoula Hound.

We lost Jai this week, at age 15. There's a hole in our hearts,*for sure.
Since I last posted, we did add another dog - Otto, who is a rescued Anatolian Shepherd. He's still growing, a big, smart boy. Some idiots abandoned him and his brother, they were found in an industrial park at about 3 mos trying to fend for themselves. We picked hi up then.
He's about 11 mos old now, best guess.

Here's how he looked a few weeks after we got him:
Thank you! We do are best to keep within 4-5 lbs of his racing weight. He also gets several walks a day rain or shine, plus when we get home he likes to do his zoomies in the backyard. I have seen some of the bigger greys you mention and my impression was that some people just didn't know to not over feed them.
