people brought the wrong dog for the home inspection and they were upset about how steep our yard is and how big it was, whatever i'm done with this bs
How can having a big yard be a bad thing for a dog? Those guys do sound like they don't know what they're doing. Oh well, lots of other rescues out there.

Sadly, sounds like the rescue agency you're dealing with has a few loose screws.
You might want to call and talk to a manager/coordinator, especially since you rescued from them before.
Otherwise, as you say - there are lots of shelters, lots of dogs who need a good home.

been off of tb recently, because of video stuff and work stuff, but here is the new dog, i gave up on the other rescue and found bernie on craigslist, he's a young basset male with a lot energy and food craziness, got this guy in palmdale from big dogs rescue who specialize in mastiffs and great danes, he's really good with the pit bull female and the duck retriever male, so happy that it did work out in the end 
he's here with angel from the rescue, she was really nice and you could tell that she really loved dogs and put their safety and happiness first

Best Thread EVER! Dogs are simply the best. I do "dog owner training" using the Dog Whisperer techniques and have helped quite a few people (and dogs). I'd have 50 of them if I could.
Below are Burt (Cairn Terrier), Ricky (recently passed on) and Mollie, the Dorkie (Dachsie / Yorkie). Mollie came to me to foster and train and never left. We were her 7th foster home because she was so aggressive! She is now a total sweetheart. We have a small local park in our neighborhood and in the afternoons there may be 30 dogs and owners out there playing and romping and chasing frisbees and each other. My mother-in-law loves to sit on the bench and watch them. "Better than TV" she says.

Here are a couple of pictures of our hounds. The first one is several years old and, sadly, the big Ridgeback and the Dachshound are no longer with us. We still have the smaller Ridgeback and she weighs about a hundred pounds now. The big things on their collars is for the radio fence we had at the time. Now we live farther out in the country and we have a real fence. The second picture shows our two miniature wire-haired Dachshounds riding in the truck with me. They really enjoy their rides.

I have a little short-haired black Chihuahua named Larry.
He has a white spot on his nose.
I feed him and he likes to cuddle on the couch when I watch t.v....he responds well to being nurtured and stroked.
We go for walks on forest trails and he is very inquisitive.
His fur smells sweetish.
Sometimes he smiles.
When I go to bed he will often jump up on the bed and snuffle around my ears and then walk around, finally settling down and going to sleep.
Just one problem........he exists in my imagination, not in reality.
He is 100% real in the world that exists inside my brain.
So as long as I am alive....he is alive.
In the future , when we can transmit our thoughts into an actual 3-D holographic live image...he will be seen by others (if I'm still around).
I'm surprised nobody has come up with an interactive realistic "virtual dog/pet" software project yet........it would make a million for people who want a dog but can't have one due to restrictions.
This would be a screen experience on the level of Wii......where you could throw things and make the dog go after it...create your own custom dog.....plus it would be programmed to have a mind of it's own as well.......

We also have a standard poodle. She turns '1' by our years next week. Her name is Momo.
Good-lookin' dog, Maki. I see she likes riding up front, as does mine. We drove back from Florida last week and during a gas-station stop, he stole the shotgun seat from my wife and kept it for the next four hours.

She looks good with the more natural hairstyle. The traditional "poodle-cut" is just freakin' terrible (IMO, YMMV)
