my guess, a synth set to an octave (or 2) up and slow attack

on second thought, i see him using a volume pedal to get those slow attacks.

i can hear it warble at some points, i forget if that means its analog or digital

my first thought was "synth set to violin", but i guess a whammy and volume pedal would do it as well.

I'd guess a whammy, and a slow gear/bms/volume pedal, and a Weakling FX Tone Emaciator to make it sound extra puny and awful.

After watching this video, I'd put my money on a whammy and a volume pedal. I'd say you could pull it off better with a hog because IMO (having never used a whammy) you can get a fatter sound out of it, granted it costs a lot more.

+1! The only reason I'd ask what he's using is in order to avoid that product like the plague. Although the products themselves are not to blame as much as his tasteless and toneless usage of them.
