What gave you serious G.A.S recently?

A Geddy Lee jazz got me.. I'm going in tomorrow to buy it though :) Merry Christmas to me!
Awesome. One upgrade I can highly recommend is a set of plain old DiMarzio Model J pickups (DP123). They're cheap, have great output, buck hum, and IMHO, do a great job of preserving that great 70's tone the GL has.

There's a mixed bag of opinions on the original GL pickups, but I liked mine... the only reason I swapped them out was to lose single-coil hum. I was very pleased with the results and now, my GL is the J I measure all other Js against. Yeah, IMHO, it's that good.

The Status Graphite Buzzard 1 and the Alembic Spyder...

So there fore i made a norwegian luthier named Listerud Bass make me a Explorer with rounded edges and slightly bigger than buzzard roman number inlays in the fretboard :p

Also, im constantly wanting(though not gasing) for a Blueburst G&L L2000, a 1976 Fender Jazz bass and a Fender 50's classic P bass.

My first bass G.A.S EVER is coming back to haunt me! HELP!
It all happened after listening to Anthem Pt 2 - Blink 182. Been a good 4-5 years since I heard the song. Raw ballsy P-Bass tone.
