I'll play pretty much anything but metal and rap. I don't even mind one or two of those throughout a whole set. I just can't deal with either all night.

Everything else is on the table.

Ambient is very fun to me after a while. But I'll do it with the right group.

I can't imagine a bass guitar in real opera but I'll give it a whirl.

… but I mostly play my own material, and that all comes out metallic.

I love the shape of that bass, in the second photo, what is it?
Electra (later ones were branded Electra/Westone) X700JB (guitar version was called “Futura”), from the Matsumoku factory in Japan in the early ‘80s (no surprises there).
