what gives?

LOL! This thread shan't be silenced until Lownerthapy is a condition accepted by the American Psychological Association and defined as "A state of being where one is involved in their daily responsibilities (job, family, life, etc) to the degree that online interaction becomes scarce but hilarious." :D.

Well, it's obvious that TB would make its way into the DSM some way or another. :D

I do that because this forum is only a part of my life. I have a household to run, a job , and a life to live. Ithis forum is not my life.
Sometime i may start a thread and get engaged in my life resonsponsibilies and cannot make it back to the computer for a while.
Apparently many of you live in this cyber world of TB and glue yourselves to the computer and take no time outside cyberspace.

It's easy enough to set up an automatic subscription (daily, weekly, etc) to any thread you start/post in.

At minimum, I suggest a "Thank you for your replies" would be sufficient to acknowledge everyone who contributed to your threads.

Also, as far as commenting on your own thread, it's pretty much expected as to which advice you think is good/bad/indifferent. Bassically, a time delayed conversation.

As far as I am concerned, I post in any thread where I think I can contribute (regardless of whether or not the OP posts again) so that any other TB'r that may find the thread can (hopefully) benefit. In addition, I also learn a lot when comments are made about my comments.

Lastly, equating verbal sparring on TB to getting abused by a previous significant other leads one to consider that you may have a bit of PTSD and are your projecting anger.

IMO, I suggest you further explore these issues because you'll be runnin' for the rest of your life if you are unable to deal.

Good luck.

It may be true that some of us are logged into TB more often than you, but a lot of us have similar responsibilities and tend to come back a bit more often. Your behavior wouldnt be viewed quite the same if you were to check up on the threads you start and reply to people a bit more, like you just did here.
