What Hat makes your bass thump?

I've got a few... like with basses, nice to have options.

A hat has been a part of my daily wear practically my whole life.
I usually wear a fedora style hat, most of which are either vintage or custom made, and I have a few soft caps as well.
I don't often wear one while playing unless I'm outdoors.

Hats don't make a bass thump. Sandals with socks make a bass thump.
I have too much hair to want to wear a hat.
I never wear cheap hats. I have a couple of 50-year-old small brim black Stetsons, although the good quality fedoras I wear every day have brims of 2.25 to 2.5 inches.
In other words, my black fedora is ala Jake or Elwood.
In the summer, since I wear a hat every day, it will be a real Panama (not a straw)...fedora blocked:

I think my fedora has too broad of a brim. People ask me where my violin case is. I'd wear it more often if it didn't seem out of proportion.
