What Hat makes your bass thump?

Never worn a hat to a gig. But as a Yorkshireman, I of course have my mandatory flatcap.

I've occasionally worn a stocking hat/beanie, but otherwise no. I wouldn't object, but I've got kind of a round face and they all look awful on me.

I would only wear a hat, normally a baseball cap backwards, when we didn't have time to clean up between shows when touring. We did a lot of driving, live iheart radio shows in the morning/afternoon, then drive to a different city for a show that night.

There were days I didn't even know what state I was in, let alone city. But I knew where my bunk was lol. You never get really good sleep traveling on a bus, hour here, hour there. If given the chance to shower or get a few more hours of sleep, that would usually win. A quick shower after the gig, then on the road again. I would wear a black beanie sometimes as well if in a cooler climate.

No hat. Although during a couple of gigs last year facing into the sun with no shade having a hat would have helped. But hats just don't work for me. I put them down and lose them or sit on them, or............they're just a pain. We wear pretty much black dress clothes and some sort of black ball cap might work.

I like a hat with a brim to keep stage lights out of my eyes. Sometimes I wear sunglasses for the same reason. Yes, a hat and sunglasses indoors...

For me, no hat. Sunglasses are a must!

Hats and caps are my thing. I never leave the house with out one. I have played with flat caps (I have about 20) and fedoras (I have 10 custom made ones and three truly vintage ones from the late 30's and early 40's). It just depends on the venue, the style of music, and my mood.

This is my hat. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Someday I'm going to front a Beastie Boys tribute band, and I will wear this hat on stage. Beyond that, I would tell you a joke about Marvelous Marvin Hagler, but, nah.
