What I have learned on TalkBass So Far...

Two things I've learnt since finding T.B.

1...Most players are more concerned about how their instrument is finished (especially Roadworns or relics) than how it feels/plays/sounds.

2...The sheer number of players that flip top-of-the-line amps and cabinets on a frequent basis.

Most players...really? TB has over 200,000 members...

Well.......atleast 199,999 of em' anyway! :D

But yes sir, since coming to T.B. I've been amazed at how many players will run out and buy the "latest and greatest/end all, be all" amp or cab or instrument, only to be flipping them in a few weeks in the T.B. classifieds for the next "latest and greatest."

And, whenever the subject of Roadworns or relics come up on T.B. the subject "always" ends up being a flame job towards the way the instrument looks, not what's really important for a instrument, how it sounds and feels.
