What if a buyer wants a refund after they paid?

I'm a newbie here, but have done a lot of deals over on the Gear Page. Personally, I'd just let it go and not leave the negative feedback. If he had changed his mind 1-2 days later, I'd hit the feedback. In an immediate retraction situation, I'd just move on and forget it. Maybe it was an impulse purchase (aren't they all?) and he had instant buyer's remorse. It's not easy saying goodbye to the money, but you may be doing yourself a favor in the long run.

What ticks me off on a sale is to have a buyer give me the 'money order is on its way' line, stringing me along for 1-2 weeks before I realize the guy has flaked out and will no longer respond. That happened once, and that was enough. I expect that on Ebay, but not so much on the forums.

The buyer would definitely go on my ignore list.

Hey, that's not a problem with the neck or body, it's a problem with the pickguard! It's supposed to cover that gap! ;)

Sorry, I don't mean to make light of the situation, just funnin'.

I have several basses in my collection like this (but the pickguard hides it).

Let me tell you, this is what I dig about the TB community. For every buyer like yours, there are 100 guys on here willing to be straight-up and bend over backwards to make deals go smoothly.

And you, Lichtaffen, are one of the good ones.

I hope that makes you feel better, and get well soon. :)
agreed... i've dealt a few with have gone the extra mile and then some
