If you’re wanting to only run a single “Blended” signal, look at the internal jumper modification.
I also run my 2112 into a stereo power amp, but I run separate speaker cabinets, and “Blend” the signals with the preamp’s Level controls (I can also “Blend” the signals with my power amp’s level controls).
The preamp’s “Drive” channel is plugged into my power amp’s Channel A, and the preamp’s “Deep” channel is plugged into my power amp’s Channel B. Running the 2112 in this fashion requires 2 speaker cabinets, one for “Drive”, the other for “Deep”.
The internal jumper mod allows you to “combine” the “Drive” and “Deep” channels. You’d then only have to use one channel of your Crown, into a single speaker cabinet.

Yes, thanks! The jumper has been thoroughly discussed and documented in this thread already. I would use the 2112 as you do but I want the ability to run it with one single speaker load for two reasons. First, I might want to do a gig with just one cab. Second, I might want to rig up a couple of cabs and bridge the amp for seriously high watts. To do either of those things I need a combined signal. So might as well go with it full-time.
I use the "external" jumper method (1/4" from the "Deep" out to Effects Return, 50/50 switch engaged) for times when using only one cab. But my power amp is stereo so when running 2 cabs I run the "Drive" into one and the "Deep" into the other. It's very flexible and unfortunately I don't think it's advertised very well since everyone's first reaction seems to be: "You mean I need 2 amplifiers to use this thing?"

Sure, makes sense. But what if you want to use only one cab? Or what if you want to bridge both sides of the amp together for one high watt output? Does the Deep > effect return method work for that?
Absolutely. When you do that, the "Drive" output becomes the combined output of both channels.
That's what perhaps a bit frustrating with the way this pre-amp was marketed (and documented in the user manual - which makes no mention of either internal jumpers or a method to combine the pre-amps externally). It's presented pretty much the way Geddy uses it (like the dual inputs on the back panel to run multiple wireless units - which is what Geddy does). The unit is more flexible than that and sending both pre-amps to a single amp/speaker is both doable and simple.

I was adopted. So perhaps we really could be related.
This is an old thread, but in case someone is late to the Tech 21 GED2112 game like myself, I am simply using an A/B pedal to combine the two preamp channels for my QSC 850 amp. Even thought the amp has two channels, I only want to take one cab along to most gigs. The A/B pedal I have has an A&B option that combines both signals. It is a cheap Amazon purchase and saves time. I didn't want to modify anything because I like running two channels out to board. My amp is just a stage monitor at most gigs. FOH does the heavy lifting.
