What in the hell is wrong with my computer?

Everytime I go to post a blog on myspace my internet explorer closes. Wth is wrong with my computer? BTW, I tried using both Word and Notepad to copy from, both didn't work. Thanks guys (and keep the sarcasm to a minimum unless its not blatantly obvious please lol)

Try upgrading your Flash player. Also, try disabling active content in MSIE (I forgot the exact name and location of the option).

The problem is probably related to the various flash (or other media) players that are embedded on the page.

I've seen this before. In one case, reinstalling/upgrading Flash seemed to fix the problem.

Listen to Dave, check your Flash. Myspace has all manner of dynamic content in the ads, so it may not matter what you are doing, the browser is trying load Flash adverts.

The music player is an embedded Flash control. The banner ad at the top is often a Flash control too.

I don't know if that's your problem but if you upgrade Flash and it doesn't crash anymore, you will know that it was. If you can disable active content and the page works, then you will also have a pretty good clue that it was the flash player. More often than not, it is embedded controls for Flash, Quicktime, Windows Media Player and stuff like that will cause MSIE to crash.

First thing stay off of myspace....incredible waste of time..IMO..

barring that....do you have a pop up killer that may be closing that page?
