What Is a Double Stop?

I give up, believe whatever you like.

That's just patently wrong. Now you're saying that not only does a chord have to have 3 or more notes, it has to have a 3rd and a 5th. You don't read a lot of music, do you?

Wrong; I said no such thing. I specifically said those chords, (as in those chords). However, I am saying this: G chord is root-third -fifth (which you don't have) and a sus chord is root-second-fifth, or root-fourth-fifth (which you also don't have).

Close but not quite. A more accurate description of our debate would be:
Poe-tay-toe / Poe-toe
Toe-may-toe / Toe-mah

No, that would be Pacman.

you know, dude, I don't get you. You reported a post to me yesterday saying that someone was rude, and then you pull a smart-a$$ed post out like this one. Make up your mind.

Let's drop this here, I can't convince you, and you'll not convince me. I've been making my entire living at music for my entire adult life, and I'm not going to get hung up on your definition of chords. You tell the next person who writes G(no 3rd) on your chord chart that its not a chord.

Yes, I agree. We should drop it. I don't wish to make an enemy over two or three notes.
Sincerely, I know you are very knowledgable and an excellent source for information.
