I hope that, when they mill and plane all the bass alder, and adhere those multiple piece bodies together, that they're using proper bass glue to adhere them together- otherwise the tone will be ruined.

bass alder 2 pc is just on the build order to use the larger blanks for a bass body.

Writing 22" on that spec backs up this theory.
