I feel like with a guitar, if you ask people what the best quitars are, no one would dare say a squier or an epiphone. Yet with bass, it seems like people have almost an equal respect for clones that they have for Fender/Gibson. What's the deal with that?vintage fender mustang or musicmaster. Squier SS jaguar with a few mods.

I remember seeing one when I was 9. Wanted it, but of course I didn't get it. Instead, I got a full-size at 13. Looking back, I am so glad I didn't get that Ashbory.View attachment 2871405
