Double Bass What is reasonable?

Hey Guys after some input from the working bassists out there.

i have had someone contact me for a live studio recording, 1 gig and 2 rehearsals.

20 song set list mix of 80% cover and 20% original music that is all pretty much new to me. No charts being supplied just a bunch of YouTube links and mp3s. I always request charts from the start. In the absence of these is it reasonable to charge for time preparing charts from the links etc which have been sent?

thanks I’m advance

It's not only reasonable to charge for music prep, it's a given. 20 songs, no charts; is the material easy or hard, ie., can you write a number chart/chord sheet in 2 or 3 passes, or is it going to be hours of transcribing bass parts from lo-fi source material?
