What is the bridge string spacing on your bass(es)?

ill let you in on a little secret all import basses on there 5 string models always have real small string spacing

I own an Ibanez BTB405 (Korean), and I have played an MTD Kingston (I believe is also Korean). Both have a string spacing of 19mm at the bridge. They feel wide enough to me, about the same feel as the 4 string.

Standard Fender spacing is 3/4" (19mm), on their fours and fives. For some reason I thought all fivers had 19mm spacing. WRONG. I currently own a Lull P5 and a Modulus Quantum 5: both have the 1-7/8" nut width I prefer, but both also have just 17mm spacing at the bridge. They're both cool basses and I still gig with them, but after playing 19mm fours for over twenty years I can't get completely comfortable on 17mm.

I assume the Fender RB5 is 19mm (seeing how you made this comment and I recollect you have an RB5).

On my Steinberger XQ-2a is the spacing 16,6 mm.

I have a J & D Luthiers 4 string (Local company but their instruments are made in China - kinda looks like a Spector) with 20mm spacing. I'm seriously looking at one of the same company's 6ers and if I get it I'll post that as well.

I have an import bass (Yamaha BBG5S), and it has 19mm spacing. Very wide, and comfortable.
Be careful about throwing around words like "all"

I, myself am far from being a "midget"...(refer to previous posts) lol. However, I do have very small hands. With the style of music that I play any spacing larger than 17 mm will wear me out quick. String spacing is personal preference. I like the Spector string spacing so much that I've had two other "non-spector" basses custom built to the same neck dimensions and string spacing as my Spectors.

Missed this, sorry! Sure enough, the Fender RB5 is 19mm (3/4"). Between the nice spacing and sweet asymmetrical neck profile, it's one of the most comfy basses I've played. But then, I like my neck profiles on the chunky side.

My Sadowsky has an excellent neck profile and 19mm spacing.

Probably the nicest playing fiver I've owned was my MTD 535 (19mm, asymmetric).
