What is the cause of your current GAS attack?

Oh no, no, it's not GAS. I NEED another Markbass Traveler 151P cab to complete my 215 rig. It's been the plan for months. I'm almost there. Just got the LMIII head and one 151P cab.

Now for the GAS. Hm, been eyeing an Epiphone EB-3 (only $300) and a Gretsch bass (much more, oh yes). Also need some knicks and knacks, just call 'em supplies.

Oh, but wait, there's motorcycle GAS (no, not gasoline). New pipes, filter, and fuel management gadget.

That ain't all. There's astronomy GAS (not a nebula). Been wanting a 32mm Plossl eyepiece for my f5 achromatic refractor. And a new ED 80 would be nice, heh, heh.

Guess what? No money for now. Sigh.

gas for:

warwick dolphin with all wenge neck, vintage would be better but... mmmhhhhh... dolphin... slurp... lol
(After seeing the picture of the one custom made for the meshuggah's bassist posted earlier on this thread, it reminds me that bass...)

I've said that a couple of time on TB : get a darkglass b3k

I'm thinking maybe to replace my svt-4pro by a svt-2pro... to try and drive an all tube head someday on my rig could be nice...

I have to admit, my GAS tends to run towards amps/cabs atm. I am loving my Geddy Lee and I have a pile of other basses to play with. One of these days I'll get a Fender P to make it official but I'm not feeling the need yet to spend the cash to make that happen.

Now, were someone to dangle in front of my greedy little paws a Markbass 102HF (or a pair of G-B Neox212T's and a MB Tube).... that gets my GAS going!

I am really gassing for G-K MB500 or MB800 and a light weight cab to lighten the amp load.

But bass-wise I'm pretty GAS-free. My current GAS is to finish my SX project by installing Ebony blank fingerboards to convert my SX 5 and my SX 6 to unlined fretless. I don't know if you can call it GAS when it's a matter of getting your own lazy butt to do the work? But I REALLY want to have those basses.

What is the CAUSE of it? I'm trying desparately to fill a dark void left where my soul used to be.

What am I lusting after? A Modulus Q4 (can't afford it), a Custom Shop Jazz, a 5 and a fretless, an In Ear Monitor system, a Glockenklang Soul II and Take Five 410, a new truck...

Dang lotto isn't cooperating.

Ha I meant which piece of gear is the cause! ;)

I would love a custom shop jazz also! Natural ash body, white pearloid pickgaurd, maple neck with pearl inlays and cream binding. I am pretty sure Wayman Tisdale had one just like it.
