What is this bass?

Hey guys.
My grandmother bought this for me some years ago, I don't need a 5-string and wanted to sell it, problem is, I haven't got a clue what it is.
I went to all instrument shops in a 100km radius and they had no idea.
In one of the shops, we took it apart and found a signature and date, adjusted the truss and basically prepared it for selling.
Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture of the pickup, the guy at the shop said it was a handmade one and the pickup cover is made of some dark wood.

Any ideas?

Looks like a nicely done custom build. No clue what it's worth.

Having a hard time telling what the signature is too, last part looks like Feld, wonder what the first is.
