What is this tuning part called?

This broke, so I need a replacement. What is it called and what specifics do I need to know to purchase one compatible with the rest of my tuning parts? Is it purchasable by itself?

And here is the tuning anatomical context if that even matters :

It might take awhile. If one broke, the others are weak. You might contact a MM Sterling/S.U.B. dealer to see if one is available, or if you don't want to purchase a new one, make sure you type your bass model and year into the search engine along with "bass tuner" to see if you can get something that is a direct match to come up.

Did it fall over and break, or are the others at risk of breaking as well?
Well, the tuning key just broke off from the shaft one day. I handle my bass with care, and it's only a little over a year old. When my dad vacuums, he lays all the instruments in one place, and although I'm sure he takes decent care in doing so, sometimes I see them in iffy positions, on top of each other and such. I know I should take the initiative in putting it up properly out of the way, but all this time I feel it's been treated good. I was surprised the tuner broke.

Ok was just curious if the whole set was iffy

The tuners I have don't match, sorry. They're a different shape base plate and have a different contour on the part where yours broke.
If you don't mind a slightly different tuner, I'll do some measuring, but I think you can find an exact one somewhere.

Okay, so here's the dimensions for the marked sections above:

RED: 24mm
GREEN: 19mm
BLUE: 27mm
WHITE: 90mm
ORANGE: 16mm
YELLOW: 30mm

If anything is the same on your tuners, you may be able to switch just the shaft.

And thank you for the compliment! There's a ton of great people on here and they love to help. TB has helped me a lot, so I try to do so whenever I can.

Everything matches except for the blue and white, which both don't matter. I can use your shaft, trusting that the width of the shaft is the same.
