For me it's having 6 really good basses. I know some of them are way underutilized, but I know if I sell a few I'll end up buying another. That said the right Rickenbacker 4001 or 4003 could reignite my GAS haha.

My PJ Bass. I've tried to like it but I don't. Also 5 strings I bought a nice and easy to play Tobias but could never bond with it. Don't need to try again with either.
As far as amps go - my Markbass Little Mark II and Traveler 102P (2x10) cab. Both purchased used from GC's used site about 10 years ago. No issues and I'm still leaving all the EQ's at noon and not using the VLE/VPF. Maybe the zero gigs last year and 4 gigs the year before are influencing me as well.
Not sure I'm immune to buying another bass now, but I have a lot of the food groups covered:

New strings and a setup. I've often put new strings on and set up an instrument then rediscovered how much I like it.
I'm an engineer - I optimize things for a living (pro audio gear), and I build my own basses - forever figuring out what it is that makes a bass that works for me. What is this "good enough" you speak of?
My anti GAS mainly comes from my Yamaha BBP34 which is the best bass I have ever played and I really can't think of anything better. But to answer the question as it is meant to be answered and have settled with is my brand new LPB Tony Franklin. It really meets 90% of my current GAS wants, but it is a boat anchor that wants to be played upside down and the knobs like to fall off. But I love it anyways and it has character, like my 8 year old truck that I wouldn't give up for a Ferrari if someone gave me one for free (I hope).
Acknowledging that all my basses are better than I am as a player.
Once I bought my SVT Pro 7, I haven't wanted another amp. I have a PF350 that does get used, but the 7 pro is my "any gig" amp.
Does Glarry have a fretless bass? I have a P type bass from them and considering the purchase of a Thinline Telecaster style guitar for $129, rather than the $459 cost of a Squier 70's vibe thinline telecaster!
