Well rethinking my last post, I'd still love to get my hands on a Carl Thompson bass,I figured that, I accually,recently picked one of my dream basses. My Traben Sun 5 string. Sexyist bass I've ever seen. She's totally chromed out, The sun pieces accually a complete bridge, It has a Volume, Pickup Eq. And Hi, Mid, and Low controls. Stock Grover tuners, and a Chrome nut, to top it all off.

I have had a few jazz basses but I have always wanted an American Fender Jazz bass in butterscotch blonde with a maple neck and a black pickguard!

If I could ever find (and afford) a Curbow 4 string I'd sell everything else I own(except my Petite 5). My Curbow petite 5 is the best playing/sounding bass I've ever owned. I'm just back to playing 4's at this time. ..reminds me I need to go buy lottery tickets!

I think that 'Vette $$ is just plain HOT. Go for it. As for the Vampyre...those are the only "pointy" basses that I like the looks of. It's like a B.C. Rich, with more class. And that finish...
