Elixir Nanoweb 45-130. The sound is good, maybe not phenomenal, but it’s the best feeling B string I’ve ever played. Definition+++.

Ernie Ball Cobalt Rounds. They work great with my basses because they impart a tone that really works well with the natural tone of the bass. They're not for everybody or every bass, but they work great for the instruments I use.
Because they work well with me and my bass and last quite a while.
Rounds on my jazz - Dunlop super bright nickel. I’m about to put on some EB cobalt flats on my P bass. From what I’ve read I think I’m going to like them but they’re not on yet.
Usually Fender 7250 45-105 Rounds (seems like no popular set around here?)
DR nickel Lo-Riders have been my go to string on a variety of basses, but I couldn’t get them off my new Rickenbacker fast enough. Strange how that works.
Sadowsky Black Label flats are the BEST strings I've ever tried! Sadly they discontinued them years ago and I only bought 1pack
I’m in agreement with others’ that different bass’s warrant different strings but, I guess, if I have to choose only one it’d be DR Pure Blues.
There’s just something I really like about the tone, feel and flexibility of those strings. Funny thing is though, only one of six is strung with them. Goes back to the thought of ‘depends on the bass’.

For along time it was Rotosound Swing Bass 66's for their zing, but for some time it has been La Bella 760RM, which perform more evenly and consistently throughout their lifetime. But La Bella discontinued them, so I'm on the hunt again. I just strung up a P with D'Addario EXL170 Nickel Rounds, I'll see if the blather and lather mean something.
I liked them fresh but I`m not sure if they aged gracefully for me. Might give them another go though. I like D`addario XL nickel rounds, bought as singles from the local brick and mortar. Also, Chromes flatwounds, Evah Pirazzi weich upright strings. I had a expensive gut string habit.

I'm liking how EB Cobalt Rounds age. They're way too bright brand new but a year later, they have just that hint of roundound zing and still some nice tight low end. And the midrange just sings.
For me it's Dunlop Super Bright Nickels. Used to be XL's but I ended up liking SBN's better and they don't break the bank. For me they're an all around string. For others, maybe not. I still like XL's, though, and I might recommend them or GHS Boomers for someone who doesn't know a lot about what they want in strings.
(only fretless axes) i love rounds so they all have TI jazz rounds except one which has TI jazz flats (i'm trying them out as a TB herd victim...don't drink the green kool-aid).

My favorite string is the one that comes on the bass. (I'm not that picky)
But srsly, when it comes time to restring, I've used nothing but TI spirocore on DB and rotosound or DR stainless on BG since forever. They just work. I've got one BG that came with flats, which I liked at first for the novelty. But I just tried recording it, and it's way too percussive, with too much instant decay for my style of playing. On a 34" scale, I want to like flats, but just cannot abide the dead tone.

Deann Markley Blue Steels #2676. (stainless) They sound good on day 1 and last a long time on my Precisions.
