What is your favorite pedal on your board and why?

Always on favorite, B3K

Weird/Fun favorite, Red Panda Particle

New, overall favorite EAR AD4096 delay. I don't even really like delays. I can't get enough of this thing. My band says I need to chill with it. My band needs to watch their mouths ;)

You suck frank!!! Haha I just found out about the AD4096 yest and I want it so bad. It sounds soooooo magical and beautiful. Lucky bast**d ;b

Strymon timeline fo sho! So many delay options, from rhythmic stuff to ambient stuff.

Hey you EAR AD guys...convince me I need one of these too!! I so want an EAR gristelizer though...

Second is a tie between the moog LPF and the mp-201 control pedal. Great filter and the mp-201 controls all my pedals...well most.

I borrowed Behndy's EAR AD, a/b'd it with my TimeLine and was able to dial in a patch about 95% faithful with dBucket, so if you have a Timeline, you don't need it. You can also use the expression pedal to up the repeats and mod to get the sound from the Expand stomp.

Well, my wallet thanks you kind sir. The TL is king! For a moment I was contemplating changing two delays for extra ambient stuff...but that money could be better spent on a different pedal all together.

My EBS Billy Sheehan overdrive/distortion pedal.

Not only is the drive tone fantastic, but the 2 channels with their own effects loops allow me to compress my clean tone but leave the drive unaffected without resorting to yet another Boss LS-2 or other blending device. Something I've been wanting to do for years.

My Sans Amp Bass DI. CAN I do without it? Of course, but of any pedal I've ever used, the Sans Amp does what its supposed to do better than any other pedal. I have never played without it since the day I bought it. I think that's @ 10 years?

be really tough call for me. My fav/most used effect is def my Agie Octamizer. it makes everything else i use phatter, and can be used for synth or a more traditional/dry oct settings. I use it on all genres i play in from jazz to dance. love it.

But my most depended on pedal for everything is my LS-2. but without any other effects its useless as i use it as a mix for my pedals. could always use it as a boost alone i suppose.

Have to be a tie between my MXR Phase 90 and BBE Sonic Stomp. I love my Phase 90, sounds great with bass and guitar, it's simple and still beats my chorus and flanger for modulation hands down! Altho I also love my Sonic Stomp, again sounds great with bass and guitar and really cleans up the tone, "like taking a blanket off your amp" just makes it all sound more clear, clean and crisp! I always have it on

I'm going to take the approach of not the most useful, can't live without pedal, but just the approach of straight FUN. Although I might not use it in band alot or even when creating stuff on my own, anytime I switch on the Boss OC-2 it just brings a smile on my face. Something about just instantly changing the sound of your bass to this lower boomy beast makes me get creative. Again even though I might not use it in the long run. Delays would come in second place since those I do use alot in song :D
