I'm in my early 60's and recently retired. So most of the big goals in life are behind me now: I had a good career, I'm not filthy rich but am financially secure, been married for 40 years (my wife is also my musical partner), raised a kid who is now an amazing adult and I'm about to become a grandfather, wrote a book that was published, got to travel a bit (would like to do more). I generally live in an attitude of gratitude.
At this point, for whatever time I have left, my primary goal is to make music. For me, that means continuing to write songs, get more proficient at recording, and continue to improve my musicianship. My other big goal is to buy a second home in Canada (where I was born) so I can spend Fall and Winter down here in Texas and spend Spring and Summer up in the Great White North. Don't know if I'll be able to swing that, but I'm working on it.
