What is Your ULTIMATE Bass/String Combo ?

I've liked all these strings on all my basses, with the exception of I haven't tried the d'addarios on anything but one and the eb slinkies I've tried on all but one.

Well here are my favorite strings (in order):
old style fender flats, medium gauge
rotosound 66s, really light gauge
d'addario nickle, medium guage
EB super slinkies nickle, not sure what the gauge is but the pink package

Lakland 5501 with DR Hi Beams or Lakland SS Strings.

My "go to" bass is a 5 string P/MM strung with Optima Golds damn expensive strings but they last forever and sound fantastic.

When only a Jazz will do I pull out my 5 string Fender with Labella Tapewounds

I'm still looking for "the string" for my 5 string Stingray (any advice appreciated).

I'm wrapping up another 5 string P/MM build that I want to run flats on but haven't decided which flats to try first so I'll be following this thread closely.

Of the basses that you currently own, what is your favorite, "go to" combination of bass and string ? Mine is my Tokai P-bass with D'Addario Chromes. I just cant put that bass down. I hope that one day I can find the right strings for my Jazz basses........
