What kind of strings do you use?

I've found two great places to buy strings on line ,for a great price , & I thought I'd share .
1. Big City Strings : they have a great selection, good prices including shipping. they show up within two to three days.
2. The Bass Emporium : is very good also, they have what Big City string doesn't have. An example is, I use DR Sunbeams 40-100 on three of my five bases. those I can get at Big City , but on two of my other basses, the two, I use the most . I use DR Sunbeams 45-100 . That gage Big City doesn't carry , but I found out The Bass Emporium does . For one set of strings , & shipping , cost me a total of 26.00 . I placed the order on Friday, & had the strings by US mail, by Monday. The Bass Emporium is in Texas , I live in Ca. There also real nice , friendly people, &, easy to due business with.

Fender Super Bass 8250's on all three of my basses, a Fender J, a Fender P and a Schecter Studio 8 (yes, I buy singles for the octave strings. All the brighness of Rotosounds, but they don't lose the bottom. Simply put, they growl better than anything else I've used over the last 30 years. Been using them exclusively for the past 5 years and lovin life...
Daddario XL170 on my Jazz and soon on my Lakland. Daddario chromes (flatwound) on my G&L L2000. TI Jazz flats on the fretless
I have a MIM Jazz and am about ready to replace my year old Marcus Miller Fat Beams. They've aged well but are starting to sound a bit too dull for my liking. So I'm in the market but...
My question is what kind of strings would you recommend for someone who almost exclusively finger picks? Flatwounds, Roundwounds, and what sort of gauges are best?
Stylistically, our sound is mostly mellow, with a jazzy vibe so I don't play too aggressively. Any suggestions?

I'm still experimenting with strings but, every set I bought so far (Besides spares that replaces a broken string) has been Markely's.
1st set Stock - Came on my Yamaha RBX170 they were sorta metalic sound very dull God knows how old they were.....
2nd Set Dean Markely Solid Bass - They were great for that Nu Metal sound new (Sorta bright sorta dull great thud) Then towards the end they lacked the brightness and made them only suitable only for either Grunge, Thrash or NU Metal and maybe some Misfits Punk but, no Rammones.
Finally my current set Dean Markely SkullBusters- New they had great tone now sorta worn in I guess they still have brightness and I think I found a great match for Punk and Metal (Trash, Grunge, and Nu Metal) and even for some Pop (Kelly Clarkson, Shakira, and Avril Lavinge).

GHS Roundwound-Dynamite Alloy. Not by choice, however. It's the only strings my local retailer appears to sell.
GHS Bass Boomers medium .105 gauge on my Yamaha BBG4S II.... they're probably the loudest sounding string I've ever played, if that makes any sense.
D'Addario ProSteels .110 on my MIM Jazz... I haven't really achieved the "piano tone" brightness advertised on Musician's Friend, but they still sound good nonetheless... awesome for slapping.
D'Addario Acoustic/Electric on my Sonata A/E... I've used several different brand A/E bass string (most of which I can't remember the name of), and the D'Addarios are the best A/E string I've played. Loud, clear, and plenty of bass to punch out.
Still have the stock strings that came on my SX SPB57, but that will soon change. Might go with another set of GHS Bass Boomers.
