I use DR Fat's or High Beams on all of my basses. Love the long life and the cool life cycle they have (start out very bright, after a month are perfect and near the end (4 to 5 month range) become the absolute best recording strings I have ever heard). Been looking for a good flat to get that tubby tone but keeping some of the zing. Any suggestions?

I use D'addario 45-100 on my 4 string Ibanez. Love them smooth and fast.On 5 String Warwick, 45-135 Warwicks. Bass is new and still have factory strings. Tone is really deep and is great.

I tried Rotosound Swing 66' and didn't like them that much. I like EB super slinky but not as much as DR.
