So far, I like every one I tried...started with Black Beauties, love the tone, especially the feel on the fingers, then Neons, same as the B.Beauties. i down tune so I tried DDTs, absolutely perfect, they stay in tune perfectly, then Red Devils, same as Black Beauties, ..right now I have a set of hi beams, love them, I have a set of Pure Blues on pre-order at basstringsonline, cant wait to try those, so far I have loved all of them, each different and perfect for different basses, genres, still need to try lo riders too.

I used cobalts on my Ibby RG270 six string electric. They played great. They felt a little sticky to the touch to me (more like grippy) but they sound good. As for bass, I haven't tried them yet.

I use Sadowsky blue nickels on my Adamovic Halo, but soon they´ll be replaced by Fodera Nickels (my string of choice). The Fodera takes all out of the Adamovic, the Sadowsky are good too but not as good as the Fodera for this bass (avatar picture)

For my Yamaha BB605, don´t know yet...I don´t even have it in my hands...it is a gift but I didn´t recieve it yet!!!!!!

I've replaced my standard fender ml's on my affinity p-bass with ernie ball power slinky's .110,.90,.75,.55. I play in D-Standard with a pick and the ml's didn't have enough tension and sounded pretty ok but not great. Being much bigger the slinky's naturally have more tension and I love the warm rich tone you get from a good set of heavy gauge strings. I had problems getting the .75 to sit in the nut properly.

Rotosound Jazz Bass 77 flats these days. Of course, this could be subject to change. My gauge is 100 to 40. I was using 105 to 45, but I like the lighter gauge where these flats are concerned. With the Rotosounds, I noticed the 105 to 45's felt a little stiff to me. The lighter ones had more flexibility to them.

I bought a pair of La Bella flats one time. I have no idea how some of the people here on this site can play fast with these style of strings, they SOUND AMAZING, But feels like im playing with smooth steel cables. So freaking thick. I had to take them out.

I hate how Roundwound strings get so stinky. How long do they actually last you guys? I have had mine on for about 5 months... I don't really notice the strings going "dead" yet, or at least my ear can't tell the difference

EB Cobalt flats on my fretless Jazz, Labella Deep Talkin' flats on my Mustang, and DR Sunbeams on my fretted Jazz, though I may switch all of my basses to the EBs. I'm really digging them.
