What Marshall Cab is this?

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post, but I'm curious about a marshall cab too.

(sorry for the bad quality)

I have had this for years (maybe 10). I got it from a friend. Poor thing was just lying in the cellar, the cab I mean. He said it was a Marshall bass cab, 200W and 8ohm. Didn't know much else.

I've been playing it through my marshall JCM 800 bass series (100w) all these years, and it works like a charm so I guess it's 8ohm and around 200W. But now I'm getting more and more curious about the exact model of it. The screws on the backside are so rusted that I can't even open the damn thing.

So, any clues?

Hi, dorbeetle.

Judging by the radius of the edges, that's not a Marshall cab, too sharp.
Might be wrong though, haven't seen all of them ;).

The only way to tell is to open it up and look for the assembly/inspection persons initials. On every "vintage" Marshall product I have came across, there's at least the initials, sometimes with the date. 100W G12B or G12H was the speaker in those bass cabs IIRC. If the handles come off, peak in with a flashlight and a mirror.

At some point You'll have to open it up anyway, so smacking and loosening those rusted screws is not a bad idea now so you won't have to do it in a hurry.

Regards
Sam
