What model is this? (Tune bass)

Update: Found out it is a mid 90’s Tune TS-365. Has piezo pickup too. Looks wild. No idea how it would sound.

Stumbled upon this on Craigslist. I’ve seen and played some Tune basses, but never have seen a 36 “fret” fretless 5 string. Looks really interesting. I’m not really a fretless player, or much of a 5 string guy, but this thing speaks to me.

Anyone know the model number or specs on the electronics?

I’ll go in debt to get that bass. How much is it and can I send you the money to pick it up for me?
The web page says "custom order only", so there is hope. Not cheap, I would bet, but I'm going to find out...

...email sent, fingers crossed, will post response here...

Here's the catalogue page from a good few years back, prices then were $1200 to $1600.

@lug

I'm surprised to see a Pendragon over in the States, I thought they called it a day few years back.

Nice to know Andy is still in business, he built my Blueshift II when he was an apprentice with Gordon Smith.

That was not yesterday

I got an answer back already!

Hello, thank you for your inquiry.
Yes ,you can order TS-365 FL. The special price is 285000yen and shipping.
It takes about 3~4 months to produce.
But now due to the influence of corona virus, the transportation EMS we use always has stopped to the United States.
Of course expensive shipping goes to the United States, UPS, DHL….
It may be restarted by the time your bass is completed.

Thank you.

Kanda
285000 Yen currently equals $2610.07, so not at all cheap, but I think I'll go for it when I can put the cash together.
