1984 MIJ E series with CTS pots and Fender 62 pups.
1981 Fender P bass all original
2001 MIM P bass deluxe
For a while I wanted the Steve Harris P bass, just because it was Steve Harris but now I want a P bass with a Jazz bridge pup and a Jazz neck. I think that would be the ultimate combo for me.
I've owned a lot of P's over the years. Down to just one now, a MIM Standard in Copper Burst with rosewood board. It's in pieces now getting ready for a white pearl pickguard, Bill Lawrence Pickup, Q-Filter, CTS pots and Switchcraft jack.
Yamaha BB300 (currently disassembled, my first bass, oddly, still my favorite)
Squier Affinity P. $40 from ebay with no electronics. Currently sporting an Alembic PA/E1 active P pickup and electronics and a set of D'Addario Chromes flats. Sounds like god.
