Fender Precision bass, determined to be a hellishly refinished '74. Thanks to the help I received from TB members in sorting this out. It's a very nice player.

Just stuck on the pure American Fenders. They just have that 'something'. Would love to have a Big AL 5-s-s-s, or a Standard Stingray just to get a perspective. One of these days.
 
I have an '06 Classic '51 RI, a Classic '50s P in fiesta red, an ash-bodied FSR MIM, and an AV '57 P. I love 'em all: the '51 for thump, the '50s and the '57 for general purpose, and the FSR when I want a really good looking bass.
