I have a section of my board that I want to dedicate to reverb, and I have three reverb pedals. An Earthquaker Dispatch Master, and Earthquaker Afterneath, and a Matthews Effects Astronomer. Problem is, I only have room for two of them.

The Astronomer is objectively my favorite of the three, so I know that will be on the final board. The biggest question I have, is what do I use to supplement it, and where should I put it? Part of my brain is partial to having the Astronomer last, only because that gives the best access to the switches for the different modes, but am torn that it might sound better in another configuration. While I am playing around on my own, I'm interested in seeing what other people would think.

I'm thinking Dispatch Master to Astronomer.

The delay on the DM can be fed into the Astronomer, letting you have that very musical cascade on tap for all of your reverb engines. Lot of possibilities for morphing the sound while a delay riff repeats.
I already have a dedicated delay earlier in the chain, but that's a valid point.

After playing around with it, I think I am settled on the Afterneath into the Astronomer. Use the Afterneath for the big washy reverb, and then have the Astronomer do it's shimmer and fun to that to twist things around.
