What pots to order?

Hi,

I have a p-bass special 94 that I just bought from a tb:er that I am going to remove the active stuff in and replace with passive electronics.

As there's only 2 holes, and I dont want to drill, I will need concentric stacked pots. Would it make sense to have vol/tone for each of the two pups wired to each of the two pots?

My fretless peavey has it wired like that, but with 4 pots instead of stacked, and I pretty much like that.

So here's the million dollar question, as I am a bit inexperienced with what kind of pots used for volume vs. tone and such, for the concentric pots, what are the preferred one to get in a case like this?

EDIT: I have found so far that 250/250 K Ohm is proper for P/J wiring the way I want it, any other thoughts here, 500/500, 500/250 ?

;)

Thanks!

D.Don
