What Power Amp is in your Rack Rig??

I've got a Marshall EL34 100/100 power amp to go with my Alembic F-2B preamp because it has EIGHT (8) EL34 power tubes. That's 200 watts!
I've also got a Warwick Jonas Hellborg Mono Power 250 amp in my rack because it matches my Warwick Jonas Hellborg preamp.
If I need something MORE, I have a Carver PM1.5 power amp that will put out 1200 watts at 4 ohms, but I haven't used it in years.

Crown XLS 602D
I originally had bought an Ampeg SVP1600 power amp to replace this Crown to go in this bigger rack, but unfortunately one of the channels was bad on the Ampeg and had to return it to the guy I bought it from

Seems to me that only toy preamps would fail to have the nards to drive a PLX1804 it the masters were turned up far enough, and the PLX gain adjustments dimed.

Thanks! They're actually Yamaha cabinets
with some E140s in them, just the right size, a little bigger than the speakers themselves. The JBL logos are from some Cabaret cabinets I sold.

How did you run that into the gx5? I have a qsc and was wanting to use it in the same manner.
Started with a QSC RMX 850 which serves me well for close to a decade. Recently switched to a Behringer DSP Nuke 3000 for the weight savings.
Works fantastically! I have a moderate sized PA where I use 2 Nuke 1000 non DSP for subs (2 2x15s), no problem.

loving my QSC plx 3002; decently light, more than enough power at 900w/side (one side is all i use) and has that adjustable 30Hz/50Hz HP filter on the back making it especially suited to bass rig use.
I've been using a QSC GX-5 for the last few years, I am very happy with it!
I used to use a QSC GX-5, but have opted for the lighter Peavey IPR3000 - my preamp is a GED-2112 with each channel going into separate channels on the IPR, and then out to separate fEARful cabs (15/6 and 15sub). The black light takes up the remaining rack space just 'cuz it looks cool...

Holy dead thread, Batman. I'll bite. My remaining lead sleds have a QSC USA900 being driven by a BBE BMAX. I can complain about the weight and do. 66 pounds each. But nobody could ever possibly complain about the tone. Or the headroom. They stay home most of the time as I really don't like hauling 'em around.
