What price vanity?

This morning I was surfing some bass parts, and found some nice abalone knobs for my Modulus, while I was at it I needed some P-bass knobs.
These knobs work no better than what's already on them...$93 later, I will have some pretty new bling.

Not that you asked, but $93 seems seems relatively econo considering what vanity can run.

Nothing wrong with likin' how your bass looks.
I've had to pass on so many instruments just because of looks.

I started with knobs, and thought that would be all. Got the shiny chrome metal ones.
Then the need was there for more shiny metal, so on to chrome strap locks.
Then the need for more shiny metal, so a new pick guard.
Then the need for more shiny metal, so a bigger shinier bridge.
Next step I am going to dip the whole bass in chrome. drool

i make mine look the way i want them to look, IMO: it's fun, it's relatively cheap, fun, and fun. vanity? part of the fun!

Hah, yeah, my screws are hella rusty. Dunno why. Probably some asinine conditions I subjected them to at some point.

She’s a loyal companion, to put up with what ask of her.
