What program for copying copywrited DVDs?

Hello,
To preface this: I want to copy MY workout DVDs so that I can have my set in my room, and my wife can keep her set in hers. She messes up DVDs like no ones business and I want to make sure I keep a working copy available to myself.

So, what program can I use with a MAC vers 10.4 to copy dvds to other dvds? We tried Nero with an encrypter on her windows based lap top, but it is causing problems and not working well.

On a Mac, use MacTheRipper to copy it to your hard disk.

If you want to format convert it the Handbrake will turn it into an AVI or mp4. From there you drop it into iTunes which is handy.

However if you just want to burn it back out you can just burn the ripped files back to a DVD.

My daughter can trash DVD's in seconds, so everything she watches is ripped into iTunes, and played back through an AppleTV - no disks, nothing to mess up. Just select the movie and play it back...
