What Should I Do With My Life?

Are there any affordable art schools? Are there better ways to study audio production than college? Should I skip schooling altogether? How does a bassist go pro? Are there any plans/ways that you know of that would get me successful through music? PLEASE SHARE!

If you are seriously going to pursue being a career musician instead of schooling, be prepared to sacrifice... that means doing other jobs to pay bills, put food on table, etc. Of note, if you are going to pursue a different avenue than your parents have in mind, do it independent of sleeping on their couch into your 30s...

If you decide to go to college, short of getting scholarships, you might live at home while you attend a Community College, then transfer to a State of City school if available.

Best of luck in your future endeavors!
