What songs are you learning/working on?

Man, lots of good tunes in this thread.
With my 80's-90's band we're working on "Reap the Wild Wind" (Ultravox), "Always Something There To Remind Me" (Naked Eyes) and "Spirits in the Material World" (The Police).
With my classic rock band: "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" (Elton John), These Eyes (Guess Who) and "El abandonao" by mexican band Elefante.

At tonight's rehearsal we're going to start working on Don't Come Around Here No More, and Rebels by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. We're going to do the live version of Don't Come, since it's easier and our keys player will have to play the sitar on his synth with one hand, and piano with the other hand.

I'm working on some tom petty as well (some of these songs I am relating too...) but also want to learn some Police stuff.

I'm still a newbie and have taken a detour from the classic rock stuff and been working on "I Want Your Love" by CHIC and "I'm Comin' Out" by Diana Ross (CHIC Mix) and "Upside Down" by Diana Ross (CHIC Mix). Excellent groove on these which is what I want to really focus on.

I'm also working some CCR songs to do with a new group of folks that I just started to play with. They are "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" and "Bad Moon Rising" (easy but fun and boppy) and then "Fortunate Son". There will be a ton of other new (for me) classic rock stuff coming too...I love learning new stuff.

Wow, too many tunes for me to list in this category really. Things are crazy this month. I have gigs with four different bands between now and early May and lots of new material to learn (some of it is pretty easy, some less so) as well as tracking bass for about 11 tunes on an album by one of my regular gigs, the Tom Martin Band.

I'm at learning stage 1 for some of these tunes right now - they're playing over and over on loop as I post.

Just finished learning Cumbersome for one project. Now working on Crazy Train (Ozzy) & Plush (Foo Fighters). Interesting because these aren't tunes I normally listen to so most of the work is embedding the arrangements in my head.
