Now there's an interesting strand...instrumentals that get you! We can interpret lyrics in a myriad of ways, but for nothing but MUSIC to pull on your heart strings..now there's an art.
I'll go for 'The Dream' from David Sanborn's 'Change Of Heart' album. Played it at my dads funeral. To this day, I simply cannot listen to that tune.
I also melt when I hear the outtro from 'Sir Psycho Sexy'. I could listen to that on repeat for days.
