I was 14 and a drummer in my first band back in 1965. Our setlist included:
Wooley Bully- Sam the Sham & the Pharohs
Game of Love - Wayne Fontana & the Mindbenders
Mrs Brown - Herman's Hermits
Do Wa Diddy - Manfred Mann
All Day and All of the Night - The Kinks
Walk Don't Run - The Ventures
Pipeline - The Chantays
This Diamond Ring - Gary Lewis & The Playboys
Jolly Green Giand - the Kingsmen
Goldfinger - Shirley Bassey
I'm a Fool - Dino Desi & Billy
Louie Louie - The Kingsmen
This is all I can remember for now, it was along time ago. :D

My first band was a mainly originals trio circa1982-83. All three of us were 15 so we only played high school partys, game room lock-ins and the like. Coverwise, we did:
Rush - YYZ/2112/Xanadu, etc.
Kansas - Carry On/Loner/Icarus
Black Sabbath - Under The Sun/NIB
Led Zeppelin - Dazed and Confused
Kiss - Strange Ways
Those are the ones I remember, anyway.

Soon after we added a keyboardist and started dabbling in fusion and it's all been downhill ever since.

1974-75, members from my school band formed “Orion”. Had a full horn section, keys, multi part vocals.

we didn’t have much for equipment, begging borrowing, and occasionally “liberating” stuff just to play. But we had some pretty good musicians, and in those days before the “innernet“ we had to learn the music by ear so all our arrangements including for brass were hard won and fought, never mind trying to figure out the lyrics. I’m still friends with all of the members . . .

My first band in the mid 80s as a young teen only played originals (except for Smoke On The Water, and Rainbow In The Dark) so I’ll use my 2nd band around 1990-1992. In the mid to late 80's
Motley Crue- looks that kill
Sabbath- Mob Rules
Dio- Rainbow in the dark
VH- Aint talking bout love
Quiet riot- Metal Health
yeah its painful now but we loved it! our singer hated it (he was into Rod stewart) we were teen "Heads"
2nd band was more standards, 3rd band 90's grunge( my favorite!), FYI I dispised 60-70s standards! but i got over it! it definitely has its merit! I prefer to rock out! so yeah, not metal but like heavier stuff, So Grunge suits me & its not the tired old stds! Love Foo Fighters, RATM, STP & Pearl jam or Alice in chains, All Day!!

An Oldie: The Battle Hymn Of The Republic (always filled the dance floor)
and My Sharona

The rest are lost to the mists of time.

One of the first songs I learned to hack together was ain’t talking about love. I frigging hate that song.
My second band was when I started playing gigs. I was a thrasher/ metalhead, the guitar player was into 80’s hair metal, though he love Yngwie Malmsteem. I’m not sure what the drummer liked.
