What to bring from Germany

Hi,
Going to Berlin for work in a month...what could I get bass-related? Never been there before.
Is a German Warwick a good choice? Which one?
I currently use mainly a G&L L2000 or a Ibanez 1400 NT depending on music.

Germany has the most amazing bass builders -some of them second to none, I think.
I'd recommend you do some research before you go, if it is a bass you want.
Berlin is a great city to visit even without (bass) shopping though!
Museums, streetart, good food, nice people...a really, really a cool place(Imho anyways)!

...keep in mind you have to pay customs when you enter the US.......other than that: No Lederhosen or Fraulein in Berlin - that is in Bavaria.

There are a lot better beers than Paulaner. But taste is obviously a subjective thing.

Paulaner is great but weinstephaner hefe weissbier is quite good as well. I love it!

From my first trip to Germany, I brought back a variety pack of Ritter Sport. Thought it was going to be a special gift for my family. About a week after getting back I went into a Walgreens drugstore in Tennessee, and imagine my disappointment to see the same Ritter Sport for sale in my home town.

I greatly enjoyed the beers at the large beer gardens in Munich but for my tastes, I enjoyed the beers I had in Aachen better. But they weren’t German - I think Belgian (like Grimbergen).

Warwick Thumb bass neck thru is a great choice, I have one and it sounds great.
Delano pickups are also awesome, great clean and punchy sound.
Show your passport and require a VAT tax exception form, you will save about 20% from retail pricing since you don't live there and are not required to pay Value Added Tax. Probably you will get reimbursed when leaving the country, is worth checking this if you are planning to buy something of value.
I am not sure what is the max. allowance USA customs will not charge taxes, but you can find out this on line.

I can relate! I'm grateful my xenophillic nature eventually led me to nice Southern Indian (Christian) girl whose family wanted my height and fair skin in the gene pool!
