What to do in Petaluma.

Go to San Francisco and ride a bike with slobake?

:p:p:p

In Petaluma: What to do in the chicken capital of the West? Check out Tall Toad Music and you can have lunch next door at Mcnear's Mystic Theater. If you don't like Mcnears there are a lot of other places in that area. It's a short walk up Water Street to the river, there used to be a nice Cigar Store and a few antique stores in that area. There is alos the outlets on the other side of town.

What can Petaluma possibly have that Vacaville doesn't?

I would have said go to SF but it's like the perfect storm this weekend there...Fleet Week, America's Cup, Strictly Bluegrass Festival, & SF Giants playoffs. I'm staying away.

If you like italian there is Risibisi's on Petaluma Blvd. I ate there several months ago, I'd recommend it.

Keep driving.

If your into it, you could stop by the Phoenix theater, which is somewhat of a NorCal punk rock Mecca, though I haven't been there in so long I don't know what the sesh is like anymore. You could also stop by the Lagunitas brewery, I think they may have a tour and a tasting room, definitely worth it.

I would honestly say to keep heading north to Santa Rosa and hit up the 3rd Street Aleworks or Russian River Brewery right in the downtown area for some tasty grub and RIDICULOUSLY tasty beer. The beer sampler at the Aleworks is a must, an assortment of 10 of their tasty brews in little 4 ounce glasses. If you go that way don't plan on driving for awhile afterwards... :D

Also, a hike through Sugarloaf is a definite must, but just a little further out in Kenwood.
