What to practice ?

Im a 65 year old male in poor health,,,,been playing 4 years....My goal is copying songs, style's and bass tone of my favorite bassist....as far as practicing/studying the basics scales, chords, and modes i do none of that of that and have no interest in it....but what should i include in my daily practice routine if im just copying songs,styles?....thanks

Most any book that I would recommend would go into a lot more detail than you would probably want to dig into. But if you were set on having a book, you can't go wrong with the Hal Leonard series for bass . . .
