What to upgrade???

I have a ESP LTD 144DX
Active 3 band eq with esp soapbar pups

I run a Hartke HA2500 250 Watt head
with the Hartke VX 410 Cab

If you had to make some upgrades to help this setup what would you do??? New bass?? Different Amp??

Im looking to make some changes to find a different sound, amp is old, bass is early 2000's.

looking for some opinions?

I'd get another bass to flesh out available tones. keep the old one too.

I'd go for a bass. Find a nice, used P IMO.

I'd say either get some fun pedals or a new amp.

I'm not familiar with your axe, so I can't speak to the quality of the pups. But it looks like you're still using the stock pups. Maybe that's the ticket?

correction*** its a 155DX little typo, and yes it is pointy
i picked it up used for $100 a few years back

its an ok bass the pups are a little weak, the B string sounds the worst. IMO too low for the pups.

I mess around with a Boss CEB-3 and i have a Sansamp gt2 on the way.
