Good catch! He left cuz she cut off all his strings. The flood is coincidental.
Shut up, Mr. Flooksy! You were not put on this Earth to "get it"!I would storm the Wing Kong Import Export Exchange, and battle Lo Pan and all of his men, hand to hand, alone without Jack Burton at my side, if my bass were trapped in there.
There’s one in his left hand. But what’s really wrong with that picture…those instruments are all cheapo knock-off pawnshop crap. But then, where is this supposed to be? Florida?Unless there's a BG in the hard case, what's the point?
My experience tells me that story is backwards. Semiconductor circuits, when they are in a flood, if they are flushed well with fresh water and left to air dry, can come back just fine - we had a lot of our gear ("our" means made by the company I worked for) that got caught in the Opryland flood, and it came back just fine - they had stuff laid out on the stage to dry for days.. Wood instruments, however, get really messed up if they're immersed for any length of time - Nashville had a big flood that hit the rehearsal/storage facilities where a lot of bands keep their stuff, and it was a mess, with a lot of instruments lost.I read somewhere on the Alembic website about a Series that was lost in a flood and found days later miles downstream. Owner sent it back to Alembic for repairs. All they had to do was replace the electronics, buff it up and it was good to go.
He is carrying one bass. If he had just that bass, he'd have one hand free to carry his wife, a solid source of income with which he could, over time, replace the guitars, and he wouldn't lose all that money in the divorce. Carrying the guitars is gonna really cost him over the long run.Unless there's a BG in the hard case, what's the point?
What do you call a guitar player without a girlfriend? He is carrying one bass.
