In 1971, when i was 14, I got an old Tiesco head and open back 2X15 cab. It sounded like crap, so I got a piece of plywood and closed the back up, which helped....Loud as all get out!

My first was a Kustom 15" combo. 100 watts I think. Black Tolex, not tuck/roll. No tweeter (obviously). I tried to search for the model and couldn't find it. I know Kustom had another brand with Tolex in the '70s called Kasino, but I distinctly remember it had a Kustom badge on it. It would be great if anyone can remember the model and send a link or photo. I sold it to a friend who got a settlement in an accident, who then gave it to his brother. They got my first RIC, too. My heart was too big! But it let me get my first car.
It's all about the baffle! I remember those! And those Crates that looked like the were made from old shipping pallets.One of these:
