What would be your ideal rig?

Stingray
Big Muff Bass Fuzz
EBS Multidrive
MXR Bass Octave Deluxe
EBS Multicomp as a Preamp
SVT-3 Pro
GK Neo 410

That's currently what I use (along with many other effects, those are just my favorite 3). I don't need 5 basses. I have others, but always use my stingray. I haven't had GAS since I completed this setup. I've been content for a couple years with everything.

Hey everyone,

I'm sure there have been many threads like this on TB, but I wanted to find out about different bassists preferences! So, say you've just won a competition at NAMM, where you ideal rig will be given to you for free. You have to choose wisely, and it can be anything! Want a vintage Gibson Thunderbird running into a hand-wired, steel plated Ampeg combo? Why the hell not!

You can choose:
Five basses
Three effects
One preamp
One amp head and cab

P.S I'd prefer it if you didn't say something like a $500,000 Jerzy Drozd which is made from Jesus' fingernails :roflmao:

Hmm...

2012 Fender American Select Precision. (Oh, I already have it, my number one.)

2011 Fender American 60th Anniversary Precision. (Actually, I have two of these, a burst and a blonde.)

2015 Rickenbacker 4003SW. (Yup, I already have this too...)

1995 EMBB Stingray with the mute bridge. (Yeah, I have it.)

2014 Fender American Deluxe Dimension HH V. (This is my one five string.)

Although I own some effects, I don't use them. A Reddi Tube DI is on my short wish list. I use a Countryman now.

Preamp? No, I don't use one.

My primary amp is an Ampeg SVT Classic through two SVT 212 AV cabinets.

In other words, I'm pretty much set.

2.Darkglass B7k
3.Earthquaker Delay/Reverb

Preamp: N/A

Amp Head&Cab:

Jule Monique Dovecage w/700 watt power

Pretty nice check list haha

Basses:
Prat MBSV-6 (on order, eta summer)
Roscoe LG 6
Ritter Roya 6
Ritter R8 6
MTD 634

Effects:
EHX Stereo Cathedral
EHX Bass Synth
--had these 2 when I was touring without an electric, and it let me play lots of soundscapes, melodies, and lead lines while keeing the bass at the same time. Sadly life hit and had to sell

Amp:
Orange AD200
Mesa Powerhouse 1000
It's a weird combo, but I tried it a while back and it made me smile like an idiot. What better than to feel that way permanently?
