When I bought my new jazz this year, when I walked in, I had no idea what I was going to buy. One of the older guys at the store said, well there's your classic basses, P, J, and Stingray.
I was wondering what you guys would consider 'classic' basses?
I guess, they have to be basses that are still around today in some form (even slightly modified versions) and have stood the test of time long enough to become 'classics'.

. God bless Leo Fender, eh?
